I love your Streamlining newsletter, thank you! It's great to read about your experiences. I really want to make changes to my lifestyle (especially spending less time looking at my phone and doing more exercise!) and I know through reading Dr Rangan Chatterjee's books that things such as practising mindfulness, keeping a gratitude journal and spending time outdoors can be very beneficial. His books are really good for explaining in simple terms how these changes can help. I'd also recommend his Feel Better, Live More podcasts where he has fascinating conversations with experts. I grew up in the Outer Hebrides and probably didn't appreciate it enough but seeing your vlogs does make me envious and I can't wait to visit my family and make the most of my time there albeit probably not until next year!

Good Post - While Northern Ireland is not as 'remote' as the Outer Hebrides we're still an island off an island......throw in Brexit and the half in-half out situation NI will find itself in come 1st January then frozen peas in the Co-Op might be something we may be looking for!

Thanks Andrew, I've also been thinking about the coming winter, and I agree it's going to be very different to the March lockdown. We do have to make the most of what we have and be grateful for it. We'll be doing quite a bit of outdoors work in the woods, which thankfully can proceed whatever happens with restrictions I think, which will be a huge bonus.

Yes, we all have to re-assess our lives and get our priorities right. It will be a long drawn out season but we naturally merge into self-preservation mode & more importantly now try and preserve others. I've just subscribed to 'Break the Twitch' he knows what he's talking about & doesn't try and be clever like some do! Great read Andrew, that was very eye-opening & enjoyable!! xx
