Thanks so much Andrew, I really enjoyed the tour and you were brilliant as always! I’m really interested in the EV6, so it’s been fantastic to hear your real-life experiences with the car.

Please take care of yourself and please have a big cup of tea for me 😊😊

Really interesting info thanks Andrew and your are confirming more or less what I had thought but not been able to test for myself. I have had the same issue you have mentioned but from the other side. You went for the EV6. Went for the Ioniq 5. Your dealer said fit a Tow-bar Sir, yes no problem Sir. My'n said errr ummm yes you can tow with it BUT we can't get the wiring loom and the kit will not be available this year and anyway Hyundai dealerships don't fit them even though they promised when I ordered it there would be no problem. I am Not a happy bunny. We all have to make the transition away from ICE vehicles soon so great work your are doing with this blog series. Thanks again

Great to see all the data Andrew! I'd expect you to get much more mileage per kWh with a more streamlined caravan, though I'm not sure reduce weight will make a huge difference, because the EV regen braking tends to recover much of the energy that was used in getting that weight up to speed. I'd expect mileage per kWh to drop significantly as speed increases, though better aerodynamics will help of course. I wonder if there will be a market for wings like those that some trucks use? https://www.kudauk.ltd.uk/shop/truck-aerodynamics

These aerofoils used to be a 'thing' in the 70s and 80s, then caravans themselves went aerodynamic and they fell out of favour. But caravans have returned to being more boxy... the problem with the foils is you can rarely mount them far enough back on the car to make much of a difference. I used to use one and the main advantage was keeping flies off the front of the caravan! ;@)

Hi Andrew, this certainly has it's advantages and disadvantages so it seems. Still cheaper though for 'fuel', so interesting even though I wouldn't have a scoobie about vehicles of any description! My own fault entirely! I'm seriously considering purchasing a tricycle! An adult one that is! Can't tow a caravan with it though but a small trailer, yes!! Richard thinks I'm crazy! Nothing new there!! Have a good time in England, Lake District by any chance? I know, you can't say for insurance purposes. Holly says hi to Dougal! I have to start a list of things to do before my trip to Lewis!! Take care, hugs xxx 😘🐕🥰
