I’m with you on not enjoying the heat, this year was particularly bad down south, and Autumn is my favourite season as well. There’s nothing like walking through a wood in the Autumn, kicking at the leaves in the cool air with possibly the smell of wood smoke from a cosy pub.
I’m fascinated by your videos with the EV and the pioneering work you are doing in demonstrating the practicalities of these vehicles. I feel we are at the bottom of a curve and though there are no doubt challenges to be met, it’s a fascinating journey we are going on.
So you're going to actually have a break?! About time, you're working non stop usually. There will be people that will say, but you are always on holiday?!! It was the same when we lived in Spain, people would say, you're not very brown and I would reply with, I'm not on holiday, I'm working for a living and in that heat it's debilitating and the last thing you want to do is sunbathe!! Completely different to being on holiday with money you've saved for a long time and you can just relax and do nothing!! Try working in 38-40 degrees heat day in, day out for over 3 months with no relief from storms and showers! Just constant heat that never ends!! Rant over! So you won't be going home for a fair few weeks then? Catching up with family and friends, how's your brother now, and your mum? Hope they are well!! You're spoiling us this week with all the vlogs! Brilliant, I love to see the different concepts and brand new innovative ways in this industry. Looking forward to the 800,000 euro motorhome you mentioned! You can but dream, trouble is, that's all I ever do anyway!! It will happen, I know it, I can feel it!! Ahem! getting carried away now. By the way, it's not a bike I've bought but a tricycle!! It's got 3 wheels so my balance issues won't be a problem! That's why I use a walking stick now, nothing to do with my legs or back! I used to be falling over or bouncing off walls or people!! Much better now! It's Tamworth that needs to watch out now!! Anyway, really enjoyed this piece, great writing as usual. I love autumn also. We've got decent weather here in Missouri-this week and next. Just getting rid of the humidity is a plus.
