Very positive attitude and so true! These people who criticise generally only do it because it's the only way they can get attention! Good or bad, it doesn't matter as long as you give it to them so ignoring them not only bugs them but you don't stress out and it's very true what you said about that one comment overshadowing all the good ones and the time you waste fretting over it making yourself miserable! That's why they do it too because they feel miserable and want others to feel miserable! It's taken me years to realise all this! You remember the lovely gentleman who was so OTT about what I said to him and like a child told you he would stop following you and named me!! I decided to not answer back as it would have just turned into a slanging match! You had made a beautiful video, one of your best and he was the only one to criticise! he was so vindictive, like a petulant child!! I looked at an earlier comment and he'd done the exact same thing! So transparent! Anyway, never stop what you do and how you do it, you're still getting more subscribers so you must be doing something right!! You're the best and I am unanimous in that!! xxx

When I ran my own business I had a rule not to do anything for that business or housework etc between 9pm and 9am or on Sundays. That was my time to read, watch tv, eat nutritious food, do yoga, go for a walk, sew or knit. In short self care. Good for you for finding and sticking to boundaries.

Keep up the fantastic work please Andrew. I feel you’re frustration with the comments, it’s amazing how many nay sayers there are out there particularly with EVs. We embraced the EV life a couple of years ago and whilst we don’t tow caravans we’ve absolutely loved it and wouldn’t go back. It was amazing to see your choices as we’ve got a his and hers EVs (i3 and Smart ForTwo convertible) but have a bongo for our travels and had been planning ahead for my retirement and potentially a bigger EV and caravan and your choice looks to be identical to ours just about (assuming I’ve guessed right on what caravan you are basing this on). Anyway, ramble over, we continue to love your YouTube content and your Streamlining, you’re a bright light light in a dull world.

Many thanks

Derek and Kate

Of course not, it was a timely reminder, it's always tempting to respond instantl to negative comments, without considering who we are addressing.

Well said, Andrew! I hate to admit that I was one of those “disappointed” followers when you rolled out the EV. However, I then found myself saying “But, what if…” more than “How could he?!?” I seemed to be more curious about the performance of an EV than disappointed. I also decided that if anyone is going to give an honest review about the EV, it is going to be you! And who knows, maybe you will inspire someone to come up with an even more eco-friendly EV! Enjoy Tuscany!

Brilliant advice Andrew. I used to blog (just a very small personal site). It was always the snarky, ill-informed comment which would derail my entire day and overshadow the brilliant comments from people who had become friends.

That changed when I found a Meme/image/thing somewhere online which said something along the lines of "nearly 8 billion people on this planet and you let the opinion of just ONE ****** ruin your day?"

Great advice for life. I love your channel and will never understand those who are negative or worse! About content that is posted. No one is forced to watch and it’s free so I don’t understand what motivates some people to hurt and upset others. It’s even happened to me when I only posted a comment! Thanks as always for sharing your experience.
